Business Leader – Commercial Development Manager
Tranquini Positively Relaxed is a new relaxation beverage and lifestyle brand, leading the evolution of the drinks industry and providing a genuine option for consumers seeking a more positive lifestyle. The Business Leader is responsible for Tranquini annual country business plan creation and execution. The Business Leader will cooperate with the country’s distribution partners and Key Accounts to deliver on sales, distribution and profit targets and ensure that Tranquini’s route to market is optimal, best practices are implemented and commercial impact is maximized.
Responsibilities include:
Business planning and budgeting
- Sales and profit targets setting and executing short and long terms;
- Sales strategic business planning;
- Route to market review and optimization;
- Sales results analysis and monthly and weekly reporting;
Distribution Partner Management
- Sets up a positive business and personal relationship with Distribution Partner (DP);
- Delivers monthly sell in / sell out volume targets;
- Regularly analyses the potential of Distribution growth, Distribution Quality development in the country, inform the DP and coordinate the action plan;
- Ensures timely reporting and quality store-checks with a follow up;
- Prepares and carries out motivation/incentive programs DP’s sales personnel and key customers;
- Ensures proper utilization of TQ/DP investments and budgets in accordance with guidelines and rules;
- Ensures placement of TQ assets/POSM in accordance with the contracts and plans.
Key Accounts Management
- Ensure Tranquini is listed in the agreed strategic list of key accounts (KAs) in accordance with Tranquini standards;
- Together with DP takes part in negotiations with Key customers to agree in-outlet execution standard, promotional plan and sales targets;
- Make sure that trial driving promotions take place in outlets, validate the results and improve with the aim to grow the off-trade 3rd party;
- Build and leverage network across key accounts to support DP in-market.
Trade Marketing Initiatives
- Prioritize Channel focus for the Country in line with global picture of success;
- Propose as part of business planning the relevant in-store activities per channel to drive business growth on different stages of its development;
- Align the proposed activities with DP and HQ;
- Lead analysis of the delivered trade activities for best financial efficiency and sales results of further activities.
Job Requirements:
- 6+ years of Key Accounts or Distribution Partner management experience for a drinks company
- Key Account knowledge, experience and demonstrable results for in-market activation. Knowledge of category management tools and concepts. Experience of “making thigs happen” in-store and managing day to day execution.
- Established network within national and regional key accounts
- A proven record of delivering outstanding business results, exceeding targets and finding solutions to business issues. Strong focus on results, problem solving skills.
- Strong influencing skills, ability to build effective relationships in working with high level key accounts and across organization.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
